Aetna Medicare Advantage plans and drug coverage
Aetna Medicare Advantage (also called Medicare Part C) plans cover the benefits and services that are covered by Medicare Part A and Part B and prescription drug coverage.
If you’re enrolled in an Aetna Medicare Advantage plan that offers prescription drug coverage, your plan will have a list (Aetna formulary 2024) of what prescription drugs are covered, what tier a drug is on, and any drug requirements or limits. It will also have mail order availability through CVS Caremark® Mail Service Pharmacy.
The lower the tier a drug is on, the less you will typically pay. The benefits you receive will vary depending on the plan you choose.
