Clonazepam is a scheduled medication because it has potential for abuse. If you use Clonazepam over a long period of time, it can be habit forming, or you can develop tolerance.

If you become tolerant to Clonazepam, your dose may need to be increased as it may not work as well. Talk to your doctor before increasing your dose.

Clonazepam can make you very tired or dizzy, so use caution when doing activities that require your full attention.

You should not drink alcohol while taking Clonazepam. Use of medications like Clonazepam with opioid medications like Norco or Percocet can lead to very bad side effects.

Call your doctor or get immediate medical assistance if you have symptoms of troubled breathing, if you feel very sleeping or dizzy or if you pass out.
